I'm off to Puerto Rico to engineer a 2x Weisscam commercial shoot. We've got some tough locations and a crazy schedule. So far all the work I've done with the camera has been in the very safe and controllable environment of the studio so I'm excited (and nervous) to see how the camera will hold up shooting in sandy, sun drenched locations for 12-14 hour stints. I'll let you know how it goes!

This high speed videography demo was a collaboration between photographer, Lois Greenfield; video artist, Adam Larsen; and myself. The motion isn't as smooth on this web codec as it should be. I'm looking into it.
It was shot on the Weisscam HS-2 1080p at 2000 frames per second. Lens was a 32mm Ultra Prime at T2.

I've got a shoot with the Weiss tonight from which I'll actually be able to share some footage with you. Why does everyone always insist on shooting high speed against a black backdrop? So boring. Anyways, shooting ballet dancers on black BG at 2000 fps.
Should be interesting and I'll have some stuff to show in a few days.
