What a cool little device. If you're anything like me, you always have a laptop on you and with the T-Tap and a Thunderbolt cable you now can easily output 1080 video whenever and wherever you need to. I often need to test video systems off the set and this is the perfect solution to get video through your hardware when you need it and don't have a camera.

Blackmagic has their version of this coming out soon and is significantly cheaper (of course) but it doesn't have the stereoscopic output options the AJA box has. I prefer BMD Media Express to AJA VTR Exchange but don't predict I'll sell the T-Tap in favor of the Blackmagic product.
